National High School Championships

From September through August, the members of the National Federation of State High School Associations - all 50 states and the District of Columbia - will be conducting state tournament series to determine the champions in more than 35 sports and fine arts competitions. These championships represent the highest level of achievement possible for high school teams. The students who comprise the high school teams that ultimately will prevail are among the more than eight million young people nationwide who participate in interscholastic activity programs each year.

This exciting series of high school championships reveals lessons learned that will last a lifetime - teamwork, commitment, personal sacrifice, winning and losing graciously, respect for self, and respect for others.
