Seven Touchdown Receptions in One Half Puts North Carolina's Dollar Atop National Records
Cameron Dollar of Denver (North Carolina) East Lincoln High School had a busy first half in East Lincoln's game on August 26. The wide receiver caught all nine of his quarterback's completions for 299 yards. Seven of his catches were touchdowns, which sets the national record for most touchdown receptions in a half. The seven touchdowns also rank second all time for a game.
According to Jack Flagler of the Gaston Gazette, Dollar was only tackled twice in the game and scored from 25, 30, 49, 56, 22, 39 and 60 yards out.
