2007 NFHS Coaches Clinic Speaker Bios


Rich Edwards
Rich is assistant professor of speech communication at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. A nationally-recognized expert in the field of high school debate, he has served as the editor or associate editor of the Forensic Quarterly for over 20 years, currently preparing the topic overview and negative analysis issues of the series each year. Rich frequently travels the country as a clinician and summer institute program participant, and will provide topic analysis for the oceans topic as well as a session on using his TabRoom tournament software.

Randy McCutcheon
Randy is the author of several textbooks, including Communication Matters. Now retired as director of forensics at Albuquerque, NM, he has 27 years experience teaching speech, debate and English. Randy has received numerous awards and coached numerous state and national champions, and was inducted into the NFL Hall of Fame in 2001. Randy will present sessions on interp and oration.
