Annual Music Conference

Each fall the NFHS hosts an Annual Music Conference. Participants from numerous states and three national organizations attend the conference, which is designed to allow those who direct or coordinate music activities and/or festivals in the state or national level to exchange ideas and share information about issues concerning high school activities programs.

This is always a productive and enjoyable meeting for music directors, with a series of stimulating presentations and discussions.Most sessions include presentations by one or more of the state directors attending, and time for an open discussion of the issue being addressed. The conference ends with an open 'potpourri' for discussion of issues not addressed elsewhere.
