Minimizing Risk - A Shared Responsibility

The importance of athletic administrators' duty to warn participants of the inherent risks involved in participation in any activity, and how the potential for injury can be lessened through a shared responsibility is outlined in this video entitled "Minimizing Risk - A Shared Responsibility."

It also features sound-bite interviews of 10 students from Indianapolis (Indiana) Lawrence North High School who are involved with athletic and fine arts programs in which they talk about how athletic and activity programs have positively impacted their lives.

The video, which was produced by Creative Street Media Group of Indianapolis and is 3:58 in length, contains NFHS brand messages and is one of the hallmark accomplishments of Colorado High School Activities Association Commissioner and 2006-07 NFHS President Bill Reader's term in office.

Among its potential uses, it would be ideal for use by high schools, as well as on high school state tournament television broadcasts, on site at those same events, or at preseason meetings.
