NFHS Facilitator Recruitment Information

The NFHS is looking for college and adult facilitators who are able and willing to work with high school students of diverse backgrounds. Having participated in high school athletics and activities is preferred but not necessary. The individuals we are looking for must make a commitment to the NFHS citizenship qualities of respect for self and others, positive values, perspective, sportsmanship, teamwork, healthy lifestyles, community service, and self-evaluation.

We desire candidates to exhibit public speaking skills as well as other presentation skills. We would prefer our college facilitator candidates to be enrolled in an institution of higher education with enough college credit to be either a sophomore, junior, senior or graduate student. We want our adult facilitators to be active in their high school or college athletic/activity community and possess excellent speaking and presentation skills.

We would like the facilitators to lead various breakout sessions for the student and adult delegates and be a mentor to the high school delegates at the 2009 NFHS National Student Leadership Conference in Indianapolis, IN, July 14-19, 2009.
