The National Federation of State High School Associations (NFHS) added to its family of corporate partners by signing an agreement with Gator Co., a leading brand of cases, bags, gear, stands, system storage solutions and accessories for the music, band, performing arts, pro AV, event, and creative communities. It is the parent company of Gator Cases, Gator Frameworks, Gator Rackworks, Levy's Music and Slappa. Gator also specializes in original equipment manufacturing (OEM).

Gator was founded in 2000 by Jerry Freed and his daughter, Crystal Morris, in Tampa, Florida. The company has grown significantly from its initial small line of molded guitar cases to more than 2,000 different solutions made from vacuum-formed plastics; rotational-molded plastics; wood; and sewn, metal and EVA materials.

“The NFHS is excited to welcome Gator to its family of corporate partners,” said Dr. Karissa Niehoff, NFHS executive director. “Gator continues to ascend as a revered name in the music industry. We look forward to working alongside Gator, providing valuable opportunities for it and the NFHS membership to connect for the greater good of our ever-growing high school performing arts community.”

The agreement with Gator includes designation as the “Official Sponsor of the NFHS Performing Arts Conference.” Partnership benefits include collaborative opportunities such as presentations, leadership development programs, promotions and advertising on various NFHS channels and networks. Gator will also exhibit at the 2022 NFHS Summer Meeting.

“The entire Gator family is thrilled to partner with the NFHS,” said Gina Clement, Gator Co. vice president of marketing and business development. “We are committed to ensuring music and performing arts education continues to thrive and enrich our communities and are excited to collaborate with and support NFHS on this mission.”
